Several of our apartments are in period buildings with original cornicing and sash windows still intact — not stripped out for something more “efficient.” We’ve kept tartan and texture in the soft furnishings rather than going all-grey-and-beige, because this is Scotland and the apartments should feel like it. The practical stuff matters just as much. Every apartment is self-catering, which means a real kitchen — not a kettle and a fridge the size of a shoebox. If you’re here for work, that’s the difference between three days of expense-account takeaways and actually eating properly. If you’re here for a break, it’s the difference between a holiday that costs what you budgeted and one that quietly didn’t.
We’re owner-run, which means when something needs sorting, it gets sorted by someone who actually has a stake in the place — not a call centre three time zones away. Guests notice the response time when they need it, and they notice it more when they don’t need it at all because things just work.
Location was deliberate too. Every property sits within easy reach of the city centre and the waterfront, so you’re not relying on a taxi to feel like you’re actually in Dundee rather than near it.
